Services and Activities

Sunday Services

Cessnock Congregational Church is committed to clearly and faithfully
teaching the Bible’s timeless message so we can live it out in our life each day.

Our 10am service is relaxed and contemporary with lots of families and children. During school terms our Kids Ministry programs run:

  • Sprout for 0-3 year olds
  • CKM for 4-12 year olds

We finish our time together with a cuppa and a chat.

The 7pm service is more traditional and is followed with a time of fellowship and a cuppa.

Growth Groups

Growth Groups are the perfect opportunity to strengthen your knowledge of God and relationship with Him, as well as your relationships with other members of our church group.

Growth Groups run through-out the week at various times and at different homes. Check our calendar for group times or get in touch with us to find the group that’s right for you.

Toy Library

Cessnock Toy Library and Playgroup runs every Wednesday during school terms from 10am-11:30am at the church hall located at 71 Wollombi Road, Cessnock.

Drop in to borrow or stay to play!

We have a variety of toys to borrow, or you can stay and have a cuppa and some morning tea while the kids play and explore with some new found friends.

Women

The Cessnock Congregational Church Women invite you to join them in friendship, fellowship and ministry. There are Bible studies and social gatherings where you can learn, grow, get to know each other and invite your friends along. You are all welcome!

Check our our calendar for details of the next Women’s event, or contact us for more information.

Family Fuel

Family Fuel is a chance for families with school-aged children or younger to connect and build relationships with one another.

We hope to encourage families to build supportive friendships between both children and adults and provide a chance for fellowship to strengthen our church family.

We meet once a month for lunch after our Sunday morning family services.
Please see our calendar for our next get-together.
